Sharing Sweet Thoughts Charity Set
If you enjoy helping others through your stamping, add the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set to your next Stampin’ Up! order. For every copy of this set purchased between now and May 31, 2018, Stampin’ Up! will donate part of the proceeds to Ronald McDonald House Charities (‘RMHC’)!
For over 40 years, RMHC has been helping sick kids around the USA, by providing free and low-cost medical care, and helping families travel and stay together during out-of-area treatments. Every year, Stampin’ Up! creates a new stamp set just to help RMHC do this, and to date they’ve donated over $1,000,000!
Sharing Sweet Thoughts is available in both clear- and wood-mount formats, and includes 13 super sweet stamps and sentiments. It also coordinates with some of the dies in the Everyday Jars Framelits set, for quick, easy crafting.
Ordering Sharing Sweet Thoughts is such an easy way to help people in need, and expand your stamp library at the same time!
Sharing Sweet Thoughts Berry Card
Today I used Sharing Sweet Thoughts to make a cheerful berry card.
I pulled the color combo straight from this playful, double-sided patterned paper from the Tutti-Frutti stack.
Building the Jar Image
To build the jar image, I first stamped, colored, and ‘fussy cut’ the strawberry cluster. Then I cut two tall jars with the Everyday Jars Framelits — one from vellum, and the other from Pool Party cardstock. Next, I overstamped the vellum die-cut in Smoky Slate. Then, I attached the strawberries with SNAIL adhesive to the Pool Party jar, and layered the vellum jar over the top.
Since adhesive shows through vellum, I tried to attach the vellum jar just at the top, where the lid would cover it. But the vellum kept rolling up, so I added little spots of SNAIL to the sides and bottom, too. What do you think — is it super noticeable?
To top off the jar, I stamped the gingham lid in Night of Navy on Whisper White cardstock, die-cut it, and attached it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I just added a little Cherry Cobbler ribbon bow to make the jar more festive.
